School Programme Brief

A one-page brief you can forward for internal approval.

Template for school coordinators, heads of department and CAS / service-learning leads. Details are confirmed in a written proposal for your school.

Programme name
Place & Nature Field Lab (example format; can extend to a Biodiversity Challenge, Annual Learning Partnership or International Learning Journey)
Age / year group
Typically upper primary to secondary; adapted to the group
Duration
Half-day or full-day field lab; multi-session and multi-day formats on request
Learning objectives
Observe a real place, ask a testable question, collect simple evidence, reflect on what changed and what remains unknown
Curriculum alignment examples
IB (CAS, Service as Action, ESS, Geography, Global Politics, PYP inquiry); Cambridge (Global Perspectives, Environmental Management, Biology, Geography); Thai curriculum (Science, Social Studies, local curriculum, project-based learning). Programmes can be mapped to learning objectives supplied by the school. Curriculum references indicate possible alignment only. Regenera is not endorsed by, accredited by, or acting on behalf of IB, Cambridge International Education, or the Thai Ministry of Education.
Site / place type
Coastal, mangrove, community or urban-nature sites in or near Phuket, chosen for safety and learning value
Risk & safeguarding approach
Each confirmed programme includes a site/activity risk assessment, weather/tide/heat contingencies, accessibility discussion, data/photo-consent planning and clearly agreed adult roles. Supervision and interaction protocols are agreed in advance. Regenera follows agreed safeguarding procedures for the programme; the school retains pastoral responsibility for its students unless otherwise defined in contract.
Teacher role
Accompany students, hold pastoral responsibility, share learning objectives and support needs in advance
Student role
Active observers and investigators; follow safety briefings; record observations honestly
What is included
Programme design, facilitation, field materials, risk assessment and a short post-programme learning summary
What the school provides
Learning objectives, student list and support needs, accompanying staff, school consent forms; transport unless separately scoped
Evidence / outputs students receive
Field observation sheets, a short group evidence summary and reflection prompts — labelled as Observed-level learning records, not scientific verification
Lead time
Recommended planning lead time for a standard Field Lab: 4–6 weeks. Multi-day and international programmes generally need longer, depending on travel, logistics and safeguarding requirements.
Indicative pricing approach
Fees are scoped to group size, duration, site, staffing, specialist needs and logistics. After a short discovery call, Regenera provides a written proposal. Local partners and specialists are budgeted transparently; transport, accommodation, tickets and regulated tour logistics are separately scoped when required.
Weather / cancellation / contingency
Field days depend on weather and sea conditions. A rescheduled date or indoor alternative is agreed in advance; cancellation terms are set out in the proposal.
Delivery
Education design is by Regenera. Licensed tourism or logistics, where needed, is delivered through separately scoped appropriately licensed operators.
